In order to achieve an optimal connection with your FPC connector and cable designs, Special Connectors offers four options allowing great flexibility. This includes:
① Dual (Top & Bottom) Contact - Contacts are exposed on both sides, along the top and bottom edge of the connector, allowing you to connect either way. ② Top Contact - Contacts are exposed on one side only, along the top edge of the connector. ③ Bottom Contact - Contacts are exposed on one side only, along the bottom edge of the connector. ④ Vertical Contact - Refers to the orientation of the mounted connector and typically would be a slide lock type.
